Description Habitat: On the barks of both deciduous hardwood and conifer trees in open woodlands, fields and roadsides.
Body (thallus): Bluish-grey thallus consisting of lobes measuring 2 to 6 mm across; surface becomes folded and wrinkled with age, and it develops small lobes (lobules) on its edges and surface. The thallus underside is pale tan.
