Early April we were Huntsville State Park, our first wildflower-hunting trip to East Teaxs. There had been controlled burns in much of the park earlier so a lot of plants along the trails were gone, but were we still able to find a few. The lush landscape of the piney woods holds alot of promise for future trips, and we’ll be going back.
