Description | Habitat: Dry areas, hillsides, roadsides, rocky soils. Plant: Erect, branched, bushy annual 6 to 18 inches tall; branches and leaves covered with short, stiff hairs. Leaves: Alternate, short-petiolate to sessile, linear leaves up to 2 inches long. Inflorescence: Small, white, funnel-shaped flowers, less than 1/4 inch across and 1/4 inch long, with yellow throats.
