Coastal Bend

At a short visit to Choke Canyon State Park, I didn’t find much blooming so I headed southeast to Rockport on the coast. The countryside from Beeville to the coast was green and not nearly as dry as further west around Three Rivers.
Along the coast I found a lot of blooming plants in and around Goose Island State Park including five new species.
