Big Bend December 2014

These photos were taken in Big Bend National Park, December 11-12, 2014. A surprising number of plants were blooming, thanks to the rains in October and a few days before my arrival. Eleven new species were added to the site, including some that are quite rare, such as the two Nama species found at Ernst Tinaja.

The Clematis species could be either C. pitcheri or C. drummondii.  If you can help with the ID, or if you see any mis-identifications, please contact me.

Also, I’m showing a couple that are completely unknown to me, thumbnails at the bottom. Please let me know if you have ideas about their identity.
