Description Desert habitat; upright or sprawling clumps with gray-green foliage, 8-12 inches, but as much as 3 feet tall; leaves 1 to 2-1/2 inches long, various shapes; bright yellow composite flower heads 1-1/2 to almost 2 inches across; 25-50 ray petals with 3 teeth at ends, yellow centers with many florets.
