Description Annual plant with weak stems, up to 3 ft. long; earliest leaves often spatulate and petiolate, the later ones linear-oblanceolate to oblanceolate in whorled pattern with tiny hooks at margins; very small white flowers, less than 1/8 across, in groups of 2 or 3. Very common plant, naturalized throughout the US. Texas Status
