Description Habitat: Very calcareous soils; brushlands.
Plant: Unarmed, much-branched perennial shrub, usually 3 to 10 ft. tall.
Leaves: Up to 3-1/2 inches long, consisting of a central axis and 15 to 47 small leaflets, each about 1/4 inch long.
Inflorescence: Small white, very fragrant flowers borne in 3 to 4-inch spikes at the ends of branchlets.
Bloom Period: April to September.
